OUR STORY


 Locally owned and proudly rooted in Fort Wayne, Dreaming Tree was created to be a place where great food, great coffee, and great people come together.   Since opening our doors, we’ve been incredibly grateful to become one of Southwest Fort Wayne’s go to spots for breakfast, lunch, coffee, and everything in between. Whether you’re stopping in for your morning coffee, meeting a friend for lunch, grabbing something on the go, or settling in to stay awhile, our goal has always been to make Dreaming Tree a place you genuinely look forward to visiting. 

   

 What really makes us special, though, is the people behind it. Our manager, Christian, has become a familiar face to so many of our regulars and keeps things running day in and day out. Mallory brings plenty of her own magic to Dreaming Tree and together with our amazing, friendly staff, they’ve helped create the welcoming atmosphere that has become such a big part of who we are. 

   

 Our menu is all about fresh, delicious food with something for everyone, from our popular soups and sandwiches to avocado toast, fresh salads, açaí bowls, fresh pressed juices, and plenty of other cafe favorites. For coffee, we’re proud to partner with Pure Earth Coffee, a local roaster sourcing specialty beans from growers around the world. 

   

 The name Dreaming Tree was inspired by a Dave Matthews song and the idea of chasing your dreams and making the most of the journey along the way. What started as a dream has grown into a community of customers, regulars, friends, and an incredible team that we couldn’t be more thankful for. 

   

 We’re excited to keep growing, keep creating, and keep giving Southwest Fort Wayne a place that feels a little bit like home.
